Hello,
I received a writer document that I need to modify, but when I try to edit it, it shows me "the content of the bookmark or selection is read-only, no action permitted." Do you have a solution? I checked the file properties, and the read-only box is not checked. Thank you

Good evening,
I think the person protected their file using "insert", then chose to protect it with or without a password.
To retrieve the file, you probably need to go to "format", "section", and uncheck "protected".
Otherwise, check in properties that both read and write are displayed correctly?
I assume you are using LibreOffice (LibreOffice forum)
