Question

Salut tout le monde, voilà j'ai installé NOD32 mais le problème c'est que je n'ai pas d'internet sur mon micro, sachant que cet antivirus a besoin d'internet pour se mettre à jour automatiquement, n'y a-t-il pas une mise à jour manuelle que je pourrais télécharger ?
Si vous pouvez me donner un lien ou une adresse, ça m'aiderait beaucoup.

Tip for updating NOD32 if you don't have a home connection, copy NOD32 to a USB drive, go to an internet café and try to install NOD32 on a client machine using the trial version. Once NOD32 is installed, update the antivirus in the 'UPDATE' module. Once the update is complete, go to the folder C:\Program files\Eset\, copy the updfiles folder to your USB drive. There you go, this tip allows you to get the update for those who don’t have a connection at home….! Once you have the updates, follow the procedures already published on this forum “take a look above” to update your antivirus without difficulty.

Note: be careful not to install NOD32 if another antivirus is already present.

Reminder: don’t forget to organize everything once you have retrieved the update!!!

STEP 3: Update Copy the folder (updfiles) and then copy and paste it into (C:\Program Files\ESET) a message will indicate that the folder already exists, you click YES to overwrite the old folder

Once you have installed the antivirus and the computer has restarted, go to the NOD32 antivirus menu then in the UPDATE section click on SETUP then click on SERVERS a dialog box appears (Configuration of automatic update), a third click on ADD then add the path for the update C:\Program Files\ESET\updfiles in the box you confirm then go to the Location tab you select the Update path that is (C:\Program Files\ESET\updfiles) you confirm then there you go click on UPDATE NOW The antivirus is complete and up to date.

Hi, I searched for a while, and I found one (a little illegal) but it seems up to date:  http://ultima.tsure.ru/nod_upd/   If you don't know how to do it:  Take your key and create a folder: /nod_upd/ which would look like: e:/nod_upd/  put all the files there.  Go to Nod32 -> Update -> Configuration -> Server -> add  type: e/nod_upd/ (well, the path to your key ^^)  in the server list, select it and update ;)  There you go  --  The Nod32 supporter (lol) last version: 2.70.39 / beta: 3.0.414.0

oh, it's not that I'm avoiding it, but it's mostly because it doesn't provide the answer  for example, for f secure, there's an .exe to download from the site, and it does the update  for nod32, it's this kind of thing that's sought after, rather than going on the neighbor's computer   I'm not proposing any ideas, because I have nod32, and I also can't find a manual update...

For everyone trying to update NOD32 on another PC that doesn't have internet access, you can always go to a PC that has internet with NOD32. If you have the same version, go to the PC that can update in C:\Program Files\Eset\updfiles and copy all the update files. Then, paste them into a separate folder and send it via USB to paste into the same folder on the PC that needs the update, replacing the existing files... Sorry if it's not very clear, but to summarize, you copy your update files to paste them into the PC that needs them ;)

Regarding the question of updating your antivirus, you can go to someone who already has the software installed and who has internet access (i.e., they have done the update). After that, you take the following path:
This PC, local disk where the antivirus is installed, go into the program files, then search for a folder called "ESET"
You will copy it onto a mass storage device and paste it in the same path on your computer at home

Hi everyone, when you talk about configuring the update, then the server configuration, I only have settings possible for the "Proxy server set up". Is this the screen Sebseba is talking about? Message No. 58 of dIsa points to the publisher's site of Nod32 to see information about the different virus updates. This is in no way a link to download the virus update!!  Briefly, the steps (see message No. 44) You need to go into the settings of your version of Nod32 to configure the update server part or on the proxy side for the latest versions of Nod32. In any case, there's no special configuration for the proxy option, but for the server part, you need to specify one of the URLs found on the web that points to a file: "nod.udp"  You also need to check (or create) the existence of a file named "updfiles" in C:\Program Files\ESET\updfiles before launching the download from one of the servers you have chosen.  Uncheck automatic updates in the update options. You will launch it manually.  If everything is followed correctly, it's quite simple!
