Merci d'avance.

Hello,
I am in the same situation as you, well, more or less.
I plan to install NOD32 on a network that is offline.
Have you found out how to import the updates?
Of course, without having to install the antivirus on an internet-connected workstation, update it, and then retrieve the signature files...
Thanks in advance.

Tip for updating NOD32 if you don't have a home connection, copy NOD32 to a USB drive, go to an internet café and try to install NOD32 on a client machine using the trial version. Once NOD32 is installed, update the antivirus in the 'UPDATE' module. Once the update is complete, go to the folder C:\Program files\Eset\, copy the updfiles folder to your USB drive. There you go, this tip allows you to get the update for those who don’t have a connection at home….! Once you have the updates, follow the procedures already published on this forum “take a look above” to update your antivirus without difficulty.
Note: be careful not to install NOD32 if another antivirus is already present.
Reminder: don’t forget to organize everything once you have retrieved the update!!!
GOOD LUCK...!

Hello,
If you find any drawbacks regarding this tip, then go ahead and suggest a better one to the users instead of just inserting a sentence and avoiding the issue!!!!!!!
For your information, a cyber always has a backup on its workstations, and if the user knows how to follow the steps I just proposed perfectly, then nothing will happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, there isn't a pre-made update like that yet.
But you can always write to support and explain to them who knows...

1/Yes, uninstall it, then restart your PC.
2/ Delete the folders that may not have been erased:
for XP:
- C:\Program files\ESET
- C:\Documents and Settings\All users\Application data\Eset
- C:\Documents and Settings\~username~\Local Settings\Application data\Eset
for Vista:
- C:\Program files\ESET
- C:\Program data\Eset
- C:\Users\~username~\AppData\Local\Eset
3/Clean with CCleaner
Download CCleaner (without installing the Yahoo toolbar):
https://www.01net.com/telecharger/windows/Utilitaire/nettoyeurs_et_installeurs/fiches/32599.html
Run it, in Cleaner click on Run Cleaner then in Registry click on Search for issues and fix the errors as many times as they appear.
4/Download the latest version:
https://www.eset.com/
and try again.

you won't take advantage of it because it's not legal...
moreover, the antivirus tells you when your license expires, so don't act like: "maybe my license expired, so tell me where to find it"

It's written there if you can't read, it's not my problem. You want updates?
well, you buy a license, otherwise you take a free antivirus.
It's as simple as that.

Hello,
hi
STEP 3: Update Copy the folder (updfiles) and then copy and paste it into (C:\Program Files\ESET) a message will indicate that the folder already exists, you click YES to overwrite the old folder
Image Manipulation: http://img524.imageshack.us/img524/6669/miseajourmanuellenod32ou5.jpg
Once you have installed the antivirus and the computer has restarted, go to the NOD32 antivirus menu then in the UPDATE section click on SETUP then click on SERVERS a dialog box appears (Configuration of automatic update), a third click on ADD then add the path for the update C:\Program Files\ESET\updfiles in the box you confirm then go to the Location tab you select the Update path that is (C:\Program Files\ESET\updfiles) you confirm then there you go click on UPDATE NOW The antivirus is complete and up to date.
I have just posted the update for NOD32 (October 23, 2007)

Hello,
I have an error message as soon as I click on UPDATE NOW "failed to download the update file"
I have an error message as soon as I click on UPDATE NOW "failed to download the update file"
After copying the files to the folder C:\Program Files\Eset\updfiles (for example)
you need to configure the Nod32 server to point to this location (see the explanations in the various posts)
DO NOT FORGET TO RENAME the file upd.ver to 'update.ver' so that it is taken into account
This should prevent the message "failed to download the update file"

Hello friends, I found a very simple way to update NOD32 without internet. Here’s how to do it.
To update Nod32, you need to install the outdated version on your computer that is not connected to the Internet, then install it on another computer connected to the Internet and update it on the connected computer. Next, go to C:\Program Files and search for Eset, copy the Eset folder and put it on your USB stick, then replace the one on the computer that is not connected to the Internet and then restart the offline computer. It should work after the restart.
The updated version is dated 09/22/2008, but for nod32, we write 20080922.
Try it and let me know as soon as possible. I tried it on a friend's computer, and it works.

Hi my brother
Regarding the question of updating your antivirus, you can go to someone who already has the software installed and who has internet access (i.e., they have done the update). After that, you take the following path:
This PC, local disk where the antivirus is installed, go into the program files, then search for a folder called "ESET"
You will copy it onto a mass storage device and paste it in the same path on your computer at home
Okay
It’s a tested 100% method
See you later

If you're poor (you already have a computer so you're not homeless), you have free and very effective antivirus options like Antivir.
