C:\ProgramData\boost_interprocess

Good evening,

I realized that the boost_interprocess folder on my computer had (once again) returned after I declared war on it here => https://forums.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich-28420896-probleme-pc-trop-lent#p28493927
Apparently it was coming from my Google session, which is why it appeared on my computer whenever I logged in. However, since it had disappeared (for good, or so I thought), I had never logged back in.
I then decided to completely uninstall Google Chrome (with Revo Uninstaller to leave no trace), but after a reboot check, it was still there.

So here’s my question: is it really a threat to my computer? If yes (even if no), where does it come from (given that even if I delete it, it reappears every time I start the computer) and how can I get rid of it permanently?
PS: For now, I haven't reinstalled it; I'm using IE.

Have a good evening and thank you for the future responses :)

As I said above, IT comes back every time I RESTART, I'm not going to delete it every time I turn on my computer
There is absolutely nothing in the folder yet, but if it were harmless, I don't see why it would keep coming back.
The subfolder often changes its name, by the way: C:\ProgramData\boost_interprocess\3EA2ED4BE2A4CE01, never the same.

A window appears on PC startup?
Is that it?

No, there is nothing; the only way for me to realize that he is there is to check for myself.

So it doesn't interfere with the functioning of your PC at all?

Nothing, but if he is here, it must be for a reason, right?

We don't care if it doesn't bother anyone and doesn't take up much space.
