Hi,
sorry for the time it took me to reply.
You can replace your hard drive with a friend's.
See if your hard drive works well on their machine and vice versa. If your friend's hard drive works well on your machine, then your hard drive is faulty in that case.
Thanks. And make sure to do the test in both cases: your hard drive on their machine and their hard drive on yours.

Hi, my HDD is 1TB (just to be clear) and how do I test it?
And I have about 600MB of free space left.

press F2 at startup, you can also check with a friend if you could borrow a hard drive for the test.
