Hello everyone.
Here is my problem:
I have 2 hard drives (C: and D:) on my PC, the first one is full and there are 40 GB left on the second one.
C: docs + OS
D: docs
I actually want to set drive D as the default so that software, games, and programs downloaded from the internet (browser: Mozilla Firefox) are automatically installed on it (without any adjustments during installation).
Thanks in advance for your future answers...

In the Start menu, Run, then type regedit and press Enter. Expand the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, SOFTWARE, Microsoft, Windows, CurrentVersion keys.
In the right panel of the Registry Editor, double-click on the string value ProgramFilesDir. In the Value data field, enter the path to the folder you want to set as the default for future software installations, for example E:\Program Files and click OK.
Restart the PC.

It's already all by default and I still can't restore my PC. I did as you said (Fithony).
