Hello everyone,

For the past few days, I have been having a problem with my computer's keyboard:

Indeed, when I press a key, sometimes the computer thinks that the key is still pressed down. I then end up with lines of letters.

I have noticed that this bug happens completely randomly and seems to affect all the keys on my keyboard, as I have had issues with z, s, r, p, or even space.

When this bug occurs, the other keys continue to work. The only solution I have for now is to unplug/replug the keyboard every time this problem happens.

For your information, this is a wired Microsoft keyboard and my computer runs on Windows 7.

Thank you in advance for your help.

try uninstalling the keyboard driver in the device manager (My Computer > Properties > Hardware > Device Manager in Windows XP) and then unplug and replug the keyboard

It seems that it hasn't changed anything, although the issue seems to occur less frequently.

It took me a while to find another keyboard, but it seems that the problem persists...
