Urgent: recorder shows memory full when it's empty!!

Hello,

I really need your help and it's urgent because I have to record my classes every day.

I made some recordings and gradually emptied the audio recorder (Olympus brand). After a few days, even after emptying it, it shows that the memory is full.
What should I do and how?

Please, it's really urgent...

      On the user manual, here's what is written

      DIGITAL VOICE RECORDER
      VN-8700PC VN-8600PC VN-8500PC
      USER MANUAL

      I don't know if this is the model...
      However, I deleted everything. All folders are empty. I don't understand why it indicates that the memory is full.

      If you go to page 14, it tells you how to format (this resets the memory).
