Hello

white square at the top left.. and when I select an icon, there is a checkmark that appears inside the square to indicate that I have selected it
I don't know how I did this overnight
I can't seem to remove it, I don't know how to manage with this Windows 8, it's too difficult..

    Hello,

    - Open File Explorer
    - Click on the "View" tab in the ribbon
    - ... then on "Options"
    - ... then on "Change folder and search options"
    - In the View tab, uncheck "Use check boxes to select items".

    Have a great day!
