I read that it's Firefox in your configuration sheet:

tools / options / privacy / allow cookies

Another possible cause for denial is the antivirus or anti-spyware software, check their options regarding cookies, and see if those from the malfunctioning site are not on a blacklist.

Hello,  We are also on AOL with the same problem using the Safari browser.  We called the technical service of SFR (AOL's provider) on May 7 and 8, 2010, who advised us to download Firefox...  But the problem could not be resolved with Firefox either (there may be some changes being made by SFR at the moment for AOL...). Just to say thank you to Alec because it works very well to change aol.fr to aol.com... The page is in English but that's okay.

However, I didn't understand Adrien 210's explanation (for example, is it in Safari: Preferences + Security + accept cookies + check the 3rd box? This has been done...)

We also activated the "Mail" software from Apple but it doesn't work for all email addresses at AOL. Only the main address works and for another one: only a few messages received until December 15, 2009 and the new ones are not coming... But we can send messages.
