Channel not found on Thomson TV

Hello,
I bought a Thomson 32hs2246c television in 2011 and it is impossible to find a single channel by doing an automatic search. Since then, I've moved twice but it hasn't worked in either house. We have a Philips TV and the channel search worked perfectly. I find it strange that I can't receive any channels on my Thomson TV while the Philips receives all the channels... (for your information, I am connected by cable)
