Outlook 2013 inbox refresh issue

Question

Hello everyone,For the past few days, I've been having a problem refreshing my messages in the inbox (the other folders sync correctly). I'm using Outlook 2013 (v.15) and I'm syncing a Gmail account via IMAP.  Thanks in advance for your help! :)   Configuration: Windows 8 / Internet Explorer 10.0

I've been having the same problem for a few days with IMAP on Yahoo Mail. No emails are being received while Outlook gives me no error messages; it syncs but doesn't receive anything. Any ideas?

I also have a similar problem.

I am using Outlook 2013, I have 4 accounts in IMAP (Yahoo Mail and Swisscom (Swiss provider), and they are not updating (or should I say, they are outdated). I do receive messages, which I check from my smartphone, but in the Outlook installed on my PC, the last message is from over 3 weeks ago.
I can send emails, but cannot receive them. I have AVG full version with email checking, I disabled it and tried to refresh the mailboxes, but nothing worked...

If anyone knows where this might be coming from...

I have exactly the same problem with Outlook 2013, Windows Pro 8.1, and AVG. It syncs very poorly!!
