Hello,

Do you know how to disable dual channel in the BIOS of an M3A78 running 64 bits?
So that it can accept 2x 2GB 1066MHz without dual channel, otherwise they will be limited to 800MHz.

Thank you in advance.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 19.0

    Hello
What makes you say that? Your motherboard has dual channel!
The dual channel allows for a double channel for memory; in fact, the two RAM modules are used in pairs to increase bandwidth and thus enhance the system's capabilities.

The bars installed in dual channel must be identical and from the same brand; otherwise, they will operate independently, and the highest frequency will adapt to the lowest frequency.

As for the advantages, the system is faster, and there is a gain in applications.
