Hello,
I bought several items on the Groupon website, but I've just realized that it may not work the way I thought. I believed that by clicking on buy and then pay, I would receive my orders in a few weeks. Apparently, it doesn't work that way; I need to use a code they sent me and enter it on the "real" seller's site, but it doesn't explain how to do that. Furthermore, the deal page explains it like this:
How does it work?
-Select your product, provide your address
-Once your payment is completed, your order is confirmed by email
-No confirmation from the partner is needed after purchase
-Then keep an eye on your mailbox!
So according to what is written, I don't have anything else to do?
Well, I would like a clear explanation of how this works, thank you
Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 24.0.1312.57

When you order from the shopping section, you receive a "coupon" by email because that's the principle of the Groupon site, but the items are delivered directly to your home.
Whereas with a deal, you need to print the coupon to present it to the merchant (which is normal since it's a purchase of services). I, for my part, am patiently waiting for my jewelry.

I too ordered some jewelry (maybe the same ones as you!) and they tell me that I have a coupon "pending" and that I need to enter it on the merchant's site... But it's not there! Will I still receive my jewelry without having to leave my house, without entering a code anywhere??? Thank you!
Normally, yes, you receive a voucher or a code that you present in store or enter on the partner's website. But you only receive this voucher or code once the deal is confirmed.
So for me, by mailbox they mean the email in which you'll receive your voucher that you will need to print and present to the appropriate party.
In any case, it has always worked this way for me.

and how do you know the deal is over? the problem is that I live far from the stores in question so I hope it works through their website, and where can we find the websites by the way? thanks for your help

The site is always mentioned in the description and when they normally hand you your voucher. As for the section, I have to admit I never pay much attention to it; I receive it by email and just click on it, but it is indeed possible... In that case, I wouldn't be able to help you. However, if you got your answer, feel free to post it :)
What is certain is that I haven't received any email from them. I did find the link to the merchant's site, but only for one item, and when I go to their site to order the item and enter my Groupon code to benefit from the offer, it doesn't work. Frankly, it's really poorly explained. In their description, I read that once ordered, the item will arrive in my mailbox in about 3 weeks, but no need to go to the merchant's site or anything. A colleague at work confirms that this is indeed how it works. I would like to have other opinions or rather testimonies from people who have already ordered.
Hello, I received my products without entering a code, but it's true that it's poorly explained because after the purchase they tell you to enter a code to validate, but when you receive an email it says you confirm the order and the delivery date. Even today, every time I place an order I still have doubts.
I have been functioning very well with Groupon for a long time and I fully enjoy "their offers"
It's very easy to use. You need to take the time to think carefully before clicking, as everything is explained. It's marked for 2 people. Read the whole page.
Take your time!! You'll see that it's simple.
At first, I was like you. But I didn't panic and didn't doubt the system. I benefit from all these advantages.
Niremum.
