Photo loading upside down on Facebook

Hello,
Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 23.0.1271.97
I have a small problem, I took some photos yesterday with my phone, about ten, and I want to upload them to my Facebook wall, but mysteriously some are upside down or sideways, even though they all appear correctly when I view them on my PC....
Can someone tell me what I should do? I already tried rotating the photo before uploading, but nothing works...

Same problem today in May 2014.
I upload a portrait photo for a website to set an avatar, and it comes out landscape.
Same thing: I plugged my hard drive into my Freebox V6 via a USB cable, and my portrait photos are displayed sideways (in landscape).
Can we change a setting on the PC before reading them on the Free or transferring them to a site?
PS: I tried to rotate them manually the other way, but the result is the same.
Does anyone have a solution? Please HELP. Thank you.
