Hello,
Is there a button in Excel like in Access to color every other row or every other column in a table? I've looked but haven't found anything. Thank you.

Hello,
It all depends on the version of Excel.
Starting from version 2007, you need to use the "Format as Table" function in the "Home" tab.
For earlier versions, you need to use conditional formatting as shown in this discussion:

You can also do Insert/Table: by default, it is created with alternating rows. But with Table Tools/Design/Table Style Options you can alternate the columns ...

Thank you for your response; I do have the 2007/2010 version. I tried it, but I thought there was something else with which we could choose our color. Thank you again.
