Hello,
I recently installed Battlefield 3 on my PC, completed the single-player campaign, and now I'm trying to play some multiplayer. Punkbuster needs to update, so I download and install it. When I try to join a server, the game loads and right before it starts, Punkbuster kicks me out for no reason. What am I supposed to do? I'm tired of paying €50 for games just to enjoy a quarter of them. The problem isn't with the PC or the configuration; it's a machine built for gaming and has freshly installed Windows 7.
Thank you for your future responses.

It's good, I found out what to do. You need to go to the game's file in Punkbuster and click on its executable; it will install itself, and then multiplayer will work.

Could you explain to me how you did it please because I'm having the same damn problem...

Micro, go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 3\__Installer\punkbuster\redist" and click on "pbsvc". It will reinstall what you need to play :)

how did you do it please
Hello,
try plugging a jack connector into the mic input of the tower and launch the game.
I had the same issue with the Call of Duty game on Steam, [PC on Windows 7] and after plugging it in, it works. Info provided on the forum.
Cheers

A BIG thank you to VACHEDO, their solution works by connecting a jack plug. I did it and it works, I didn't know what to do with my bf3 because I hadn't been able to play for 3 months and it works again, thank you!
