Red decoder flashing.

Hello, my Metronic Terbox decoder is not working anymore: there is a small red-orange LED that keeps blinking, nothing shows on the screen, I've tried everything - unplugging and plugging it back in somewhere else, removing and reinserting the card, etc...
What should I do?

Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 22.0.1229.79

As indicated in your other post, disconnect this terminal from the satellite antenna, leave the orange terminal connected to the dish, install a twin and connect your terbox and the orange decoder to it... everything will work again.

Thank you, it's working again, the problem is solved, and without being discreet, how much does a twin cost?

Copy of my response on your other post: "For receiving satellite on two decoders, you need a twin LNB; it's the best solution. The satellite signals then circulate on two cables, where no splitter is installed, and feed directly into each decoder.
If you use a splitter for satellite reception, there will be conflicts between the decoders... leading to reception problems.
Cost of a twin LNB: €20-25, no antenna adjustment required, just replace the LNB and install two cables, each going to a decoder.
The wiring to do (the cables must be continuous, without a box): http://lobotomise.pagesperso-orange.fr/html/setlnb/sch_lnb_twin.jpg
A place to buy a quality, guaranteed, and inexpensive twin LNB: https://www.2galli.fr/lnb-twin-universels-40mm,fr,3,60.cfm"

Alright, but I believe there are some at the hardware store that dad mentioned, but there are also two balls. What are the two balls for?

'the two balls' are meant for a completely different use
    it won't work
you definitely need a twin... and a quality one (the site I mentioned is reputable, it supplies professionals, I source from them as a pro... the products are inexpensive and especially guaranteed and of good quality)
I highly recommend them if you want a quality installation

Alright, in the meantime to get the TV, I found this software: maxtv, not very clear but it will do the job for a couple of weeks until the twin. And thanks.
