Problem with rocketdock

Solved

Hello,

I wanted to change some settings in RocketDock, but I set the hide time to 0s, so it only appears when I move my mouse to the top of the screen. Since I placed RocketDock a bit lower, I don't have time to right-click on it to change the settings. Can someone tell me how to modify RocketDock settings by another means? Thank you.

    uninstall it using revo uninstaller

the tutorial is on the download page.

do a cleanup with ccleaner (including the registry)

the tutorial is on the download page.

when it's done, go to your programs to delete the rocketdock folder if it is still there.

if it's gone, restart your PC directly after the cleanup.

    reinstall rocketdock

It's good, thanks, Revo Uninstaller allowed me to delete the autohide values in the registry, so my problem is solved!

    Hi,

if you hover your mouse over the bar when it appears, you have time to move to the options icon or right-click on it, I just tested it and it works perfectly.

I don't have time; if I move my mouse away from the top of the screen, RocketDock disappears all of a sudden. I really don't have time to do it, and RocketDock is about 3 cm from the top of the screen. I think I need to modify the options file, but I can't find where the file is to set the time for it to hide.

Don't remove your mouse when RocketDock appears and slowly slide your mouse without lifting it to click on the options icon.

I didn't understand what you said. You told me not to move the mouse and then to move it.
Could you explain it to me more simply, please?

Yes, I mean that you moved it while remaining on the RocketDock bar; actually, you slide your mouse cursor over your icons to reach the one for options.

The problem is that my mouse doesn't touch the RocketDock bar! It's above! I can't click on anything.

I can't explain it better, if I can do it you should be able to do it too, because if your mouse is on the bar it shouldn't disappear.

    Otherwise, try this:

place your mouse roughly where you activate the appearance of the bar, since you say it will disappear quickly, move your mouse down to where your bar appears and press CTRL+ALT+R

Is there a way to change the RocketDock settings without using the RocketDock bar?

Yes, the only solution is to uninstall and reinstall.
