Hello,
I have 2 3Com 5500 switches
the 1st one is primary: everything is functional
the 2nd one is for redundancy and yesterday I saw that the power LED is red, in all the 3Com documentation I can't find any reference to this color, I think it might be a power supply issue, and the unit LED shows F
does anyone have any information??
Thank you in advance

Hi,
the red power light indicates an error during self-tests.
If you connect to the console port, you should have some error messages, right?

page 82:
a flashing F is supposed to indicate a fan failure.
That's the case; your switch is working, is it reachable in management?

Hello,
I don't know if he can be reached for management,
but when I ask for it again, the power lights up in green.
