I had Adobe PhotoDeluxe on a Mac, I just got a PC with VISTA but I can't reinstall this
software: is there an equivalent for photo editing that works on VISTA?

I have Adobe PhotoDeluxe Edition 4.0 and it works fine on XP.

Adobe Photo Deluxe 2.0 does not install with Windows Vista Home Premium Edition.

I installed PhotoDeluxe EE 1.0 on XP (I had 98 before) and it works without any issues.

Here are the steps I followed.

1- Go to the Adobe website: https://supportdownloads.adobe.com/detail.jsp?hexID=8286

2- Click on "Proceed to Download”

3- Click on “Download Now”

4- A "Parser.exe" window opens. Click on save "Parser.exe"

The icon is now on the desktop.

5- Click on it. A "WinZip Self Extractor" window opens.

It says: "c:\temp\adobe "

6- Type instead: "c:\program files\PhotoDeluxe EE 1.0\plugIns" and confirm by clicking on "Unzip"

7- Open the "Program Files" folder, then "PhotoDeluxe EE", then "Plug-ins".

8- Delete the program "EPSParsr.8by" (you'll find it in the recycle bin just in case)

In your "Plug-ins" folder, there is a new folder called: "EPS Parser Plug-in for Adobe PhotoDeluxe"

9- Open this folder and copy/paste the new EPSParsr.8by into the previous folder containing the plug-ins.

Restart your computer.

There you go, it’s done.

Indeed, there is a similar software called Adobe PhotoDeluxe Edition Enterprise that works perfectly with Windows XP.
It's software for creating montages very quickly and without much knowledge.
This software was included when purchasing a plotter at my workplace.

HP Scanning Software PredisionScan LT Software. On the HP website for scanner software updates, you can download updates that allow you to upgrade from the Windows 95 version to the HP version. First, you need to load the CD in safe mode. HP explains everything you need to do.

The 4.0 works very well on our family computers running XP, Vista, Windows 7.
On the Sony Vaio desktop, it worked well with Vista and then W7 but stopped. I can't reinstall it! The support from my seller and Sony has failed or refused to help me and sends me to Adobe, which I cannot download! What to do? Thank you.

I just reinstalled Adobe PhotoDeluxe Edition 4 on XP without any problem.
Before that, I reinstalled the camera that the software was provided with, insert the CD, then go to French, install, setup (computer+box) and it should work.

the photodelux2 doesn't work on my PC with XP and 1GB RAM memory.

I also had ADOBE PHOTO DELUXE on my old Win 98 computer. When I switched to another one with XP, I reinstalled Adobe Photo Deluxe using the installation disk from the first computer and it works. I just encountered a problem today (which led me to your question)... to make a calendar, only the years up to 2002 appear.
