Hello, so here's my problem:
To activate the "Wireless Network Configuration" tab, I want to start the service: wireless automatic configuration
But when I start the service I get an error "The wireless auto-configuration service on the local computer started then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example, the alert service and the performance logs.

I'm a hotline operator, so I'm going to give you the instructions you need to follow in order to start the service in question, alright.
First of all, you uninstall, if you have installed one, the program that shows you the available wireless networks, which came with your USB key. Get rid of that program.
Then, from the Device Manager, you uninstall and reinstall the driver for your USB Wi-Fi key only, without reinstalling the program provided with your USB Wi-Fi key to manage the wireless connections.
Then you try to start the service in Start<Run<services.msc
"Wireless Auto Configuration".
If you still can't start it, a program is preventing you from starting that service, so you disable everything in Start<msconfig<Startup and check the box to disable everything.
Then you try again, and finally if it still doesn't work, format and reinstall all of Windows and try without installing anything else to see if you can start the service in question before and after installing your USB Wi-Fi key. There you go, you're welcome.
With all that, if it doesn't work, I'm no longer a hotline operator.

I had the same problem, I searched through many forums and the solution was found by you! Little trickster.
In msconfig, there was a 9wifi service that installed itself when setting up the neufbox. And that piece of crap messes things up in its own way! No need to uncheck everything, just the one corresponding to that piece of crap box and there you go, it works again!

I also want to add that I have the same problem with my friend's laptop which, at the time of Windows installation, had its integrated wireless network card, unlike the other one where I added one afterwards.
