Convert numbers files without mac

Hello,

Is there a way to open a Numbers file in Excel (or another Windows program)?
I have an Excel file that I worked on this weekend on my parents' Mac.
It's silly, but since the Mac opened the .xls file without any issues, I didn't think that moving it in the other direction wouldn't be as easy.
Now I have a Numbers file that neither Excel nor Microsoft Works can open.
And I won't have access to a Mac again for a maximum of three weeks...

Send the file by email and ask your parents to save it in Excel format.
Or look for someone in your neighborhood, or a cyber café, or a local association that has a Mac and Numbers.
