My White Mackook written in SYMBOL

Hello,

I'm really upset. I cleaned my white Macbook while it was off with glass cleaner on a cloth, and now when I turn it on it uses the "SYMBOL" writing, so I can no longer enter my name or password. I'm currently in Brazil for my studies, and I don't know who to turn to.
Is there a keyboard shortcut that could help me reset my keyboard to French with the correct letters?

    Hello,

    I hope you've been very moderate with the amount of window cleaner you used to dampen the cloth! Too much product can cause the excess to seep under the keys and damage/corrode the electronic contacts...
    To clean the white casing, here is a simple method.

    To restore a normal keyboard, you can always try resetting the PRAM:
    Restart the Mac
    Press and hold the 4 keys ALT-CMD-P-R (note on older keyboards, the CMD key is represented by the Apple symbol)
    Keep these 4 keys pressed until the 4th 'boing' (the startup sound).
    Release these 4 keys
    Let the Mac start up.
