PAL, SECAM and DVB-T

Hello everyone.

Before digital terrestrial television, in television, in France we had the SECAM system and in other countries, the PAL system.

So for a Belgian bringing his TV to France, a PAL/SECAM TV was required.

What about now with digital terrestrial television?

Is digital terrestrial television the same everywhere?

For example: In Belgium, I have a PAL TV and I use a digital terrestrial television adapter. Everything is fine.

What will happen in France with the same equipment?

Thank you for your answers.

Hello, with the transition to all-digital, the SECAM, a French specialty that has been outdated for years, is finally over: I want to say 'finally!'
So everything is in PAL for DTT reception, your equipment will work
limitations: be sure to select the correct country when searching for channels because the encoding differs in some countries.
