Hello,

I found a detailed map of Algeria that works with Garmin XT, I would like to know if it's possible to use it with Nokia Maps, what should I do? ... change the file extension? .. thank you for your help...

Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 12.0

Thank you for your quick response, Upsiloniota... but on Nokia Suite we cannot find the map of Algeria (strange but that’s how it is)... that's why I would like to find another alternative...

Hi,

I think it would be easier to download a map directly in Nokia format, as the maps are all different and it's sometimes much more than just a matter of formats (there are different graphics depending on the maps, the speed, ...).

  It's easy, buddy, you just paste it into the Garmin folder that you find on your SD card.

I use the Navigator app (available for download on Google Play). Maps of Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia can be downloaded from the app. A Wi-Fi connection is recommended :)

Hello,

I tried using Google Maps. I downloaded the map of the capital (you outline the area and then download it to make it available offline), and then I calculate my route with a Nedjma 2G SIM card.

But it's on Android!

  The Google map is up to date; in the maps suggested above, we can't find the east-west highway, but it is there on Google Maps.

I found a map of Algeria on https://carte-gps.com
I downloaded the file here: https://carte-gps.com/cartes-pour-gps/garmin/garmin-algerie/
It works perfectly on my Garmin nuvi GPS but I haven't tested it on Nokia maps. And what’s the point of Nokia maps if it works well on the Garmin??
