Multiple Bluetooth devices simultaneously

Solved

Hello,

I own a Sony Xperia S smartphone and I am very interested in purchasing a smartwatch connected via Bluetooth to the phone.

The problem is that I also have a Bluetooth audio headset connected to the phone when I'm on the go.

My question is therefore the following: can I connect my smartphone to both devices at the same time and exchange information with both in the same way?

Thank you in advance for your help!

You can connect multiple Bluetooth devices to the same device. In this case, your watch and your headphones connected to your phone. However, in your phone's Bluetooth settings, for each connected device, you need to select what type of information you want to share (e.g., Multimedia, Calls, Contacts). This applies to Android, for example, at least on versions 5.0 and 6.0.

Bad news, music and notifications = multimedia. You can share your music to your headphones, but you will sacrifice your notifications on your watch during that time. It's still to be seen. I've never tested it. You put your music on an SD card in the watch. You connect your headphones to the watch. You listen to your music from there.

As for calls, it's a bit tricky. Your Bluetooth headphones need to be able to handle a Bluetooth connection to both your watch and your phone at the same time. In theory, you could share your music from the watch to the headphones (multimedia to headphones) and the calls via what I imagine they call protocols to the headphones (calls -> headphones). That might work. I will be receiving a 3G watch with an SD card soon.

I will do the test if you're interested.

Hello everyone,
I just did the test and it works with a Fitbit watch, a Samsung S5, and a Bose Bluetooth HP II.
Try connecting one then the other; if it doesn't work, connect the second one first. That's how it worked for me.

Hello! I have a Bluetooth headset and a Chinese watch that cost very little, but both are currently working at the same time without any problems. While I'm writing, I'm chatting with my girlfriend using the watch while listening to my music, so it's possible!!!

It works perfectly, I bought the Huawei Watch and I have a Bluetooth headset, both work at the same time. No problem, I can even use the watch as a controller for the headset, it works great.
