Hello, I'm in deep trouble, and it seems I'm not alone:
On Windows XP, my HP laptop screen is currently stuck on the message "please wait while the connection is being established." The same message is also present in German on a white screen. This message appeared after the Gendarmerie's one, which I had then deleted. All these issues came up while I was in the "searching for streaming" phase for a football match. With the inability to close this window, I rebooted my PC in SAFE MODE, to no avail. In the final phase, with the white screen, any keyboard manipulation is impossible. This white screen appears after a fleeting glimpse of the desktop image and before the icons, which therefore remain hidden. With COMMAND PROMPT IN SAFE MODE, I can only type 2 characters from a CCM advice (Guillaume) before the white screen with message reappears.
Thank you for the help you will provide to a novice !!!

6/ Once the score is on the screen, select the one you want to format and press S.
Perhaps it should be specified that this deletes all data.

Comme l'ange que tu es, tu ris en créant une légèreté dans ma poitrine,
Tes yeux me pénètrent,
(Ta réponse est toujours 'peut-être')
C'est à ce moment que je me suis levé et suis parti.

Hello,
This message "WAIT...." follows a message from the Gendarmerie that I deleted... That's when everything got stuck on the white screen with the message in 2 languages.
Thank you for your interest in my problem.

I did the 1/ and, after continuously teasing "supp.", the white screen with the message returned, as if I hadn't touched "supp."
I'll try again after 5 PM.
See you, thanks.

Hello,
it's clear that you're in deep trouble, but oh well. Try resetting your PC:
1/Turn on the PC and press "delete" several times
2/You'll come to something weird, go to the "boot" menu and in "first boot" select the CD drive if it hasn't been done already.
3/ The message "Press any key to boot from CD..." will appear: press any key.
4/ The Windows XP installation menu opens (blue background)
5/ Choose to install a new copy of Windows XP
6/ Once you reach the partitions screen, select the one you want to format and press S.
8/ Then partition the unallocated space.
9/ Let yourself be guided through the installation of XP./insert the Windows XP CD and restart.
