Problem reading RAR files on VLC

Hello,
I downloaded an episode of Glee on vuze via isohunt, but when I open vlc the file won't open because it's a RAR file. I can't find any other types of files. Thank you for your help.

      And on top of that, it's free and the 7z format is very efficient... (for when you use it to create an archive).

      You right-click on your file (rar) and open it with 7Z, then in 7Z you click on "extract".
