[XP] probleme de mise a jour et firewall

Bonjour.
Suite a une mise a jour windows mon firexall "sygate personal firewall" s'est déconnecté et plus moyen de le faire fonctionner, même en le désinstallant et réinstallant plusieurs fois puis en rebootant;
De plus, 2 mises a jours refusent de s'installer.
L'une étant :"mise a jour de sécurité de MSXML 4.0 SP2 (KB927978)"
et l'autre "outil de suppr'ssion de logiciel malveillant windows-novembre 2006 (KB890830)".
Je ne sais pas si il y a un lien, mais windows live messenger ne fonctionne plus alors que l'ancienne version windows messenger foctionne.
Egalement impossible de me connecter a msn car sa mise a jour s'interrompt sans raison.
Que se passe t'il ?

j'ai essayé de me connecter au site windows update, page blance.
par le biais du site microsoft, une mise a jour est necessaire car apparemment un fichier a pisparu et pendnat la mise a jour, firefox comme ie bug.
Bref, aucun moyen de passer par microsoft en internet.

salut , il y a peu de chance pour que tu obtienne ton fichier par le biais d'une mise à jour . Donc est tu en mesure de donner le nom exact de ce fichier envolé
Non, aucun message n'affiche de fichier manquant ou endommagé.
Concernant les mises a jour, le message inscrit est sur mon 1er post ci dessus.
Pour le site, microsoft , firefox et ie sont obligés de fermer, tout simplement.
Comment puis-je faire ?

Le pc date de 2003.
Config mat: AMD athlon XP 2400+, 80 Go, 768 Mo DDR,ATI radeon 9200,carte mère ASUS A7N8X changée il y a 3 mois
Je ne sais pas si j'ai donné les bons éléments.
Je viens aussi de découvrir que la fonction "recherche" ne fonctionne plus.
J'ai scanné la pc avec spybot, ad-aware,c cleaner, et secuser en ligne, RAS.
ont tous le mérites quand ont les emploi pour foutre la grosse mer;............dans vos Pc faite de la maintenance comme le preconise l'aide de windows meme la avec moderation a bon entendeur
J'utilise le firewall windows en attendant.
La réparation système ne risque t'elle pas d'écraser mes nouvelles données, genre formatage ?
Et je n'ai pas essayé non plus la restauration systeme car j'aurais voulu connaitre l'origine du probleme avant de faire quoi que se soit.
