double screen with excel Solved

Question

Hello,  I have 2 Excel files that I want to put on 2 screens (same computer), but I can't get one of the windows to go to the second screen; can you help me?

The Excel window must not be maximized.
The display setting for screens must be set to "Extended Desktop".
* Open both Excel files (only the second is visible, as you will choose the "maximize" display);
* Widen the Excel window so that it occupies both screens;
* Go to View/New Window then View/Arrange All/Vertical;
... and it works!

It is necessary to:

- Set up the screens to display an "extended desktop"
- Enlarge EXCEL on both screens (by clicking ALL THE WAY AT THE TOP LEFT). Be careful in Excel, there are two "enlarge" boxes at the top left: one for Excel itself and one for the open spreadsheet.
- Once Excel is on both screens, you need to reduce the spreadsheet you are working on (not too tiny) and position it on screen 1 or 2. Then do the same with the second one.

With this method: Excel menus are on both screens and each spreadsheet on its own. You can create links between different open spreadsheets.

You can also open two instances of Excel, with two sets of menus, etc. but you won't be able to create DDE links between one spreadsheet and another.

Thank you for this quick response, but when I click at the top left, the file stays on one screen, making it impossible to put it on both?
