Is 20MB enough for a smartphone?

Hello,
I'm thinking of getting a Bouygues mobile plan at €9.90/month with 2 hours of calls, unlimited texts, and 20 MB of included data, then €0.05 per MB, because I can only afford to spend €10 on a plan with internet. My internet usage will be very low (apps and occasional Google searches), so I wanted to know if 20MB would be enough to run apps and/or do a few searches, and if so, how many?
Does anyone know of a better internet plan (for the same price)?
Thanks to everyone for your answers! ;)

hello,
let's see, your question is: "Is 20MB enough for a smartphone?" and well, let's be clear... NO, it's not enough for a smartphone worthy of the name! Sorry, but unfortunately that's just not enough.
20MB for a month is really nothing... for apps, don't even think about it, between downloading them and their updates, it's going to drain you.
Examples:
1 hour of browsing or using apps = about 20MB;
50 emails without attachments sent or received = about 1MB;
1 photo sent or received = about 1MB;
1 hour of TV or music streaming on 3G = about 100MB.
(Examples given for illustrative purposes, values may vary depending on file sizes).
For 1 month, it's about 2min of browsing per day (without doing anything else, no emails or games or anything....).
Or you can turn off your data (to avoid wasting your 20MB) on your phone and switch to Wi-Fi, but that will quickly get on your nerves.
But hey, for less than €10, for now there isn't anything better it seems to me.....

Otherwise for €14.90 you have SOSH (the low-cost option from Orange) with 2 hours of calls, unlimited SMS and MMS, and 1GB of data. I know you need to add €5 per month compared to your budget, but let's see if it's possible for you; this plan could be good for your needs...!
