Hello, right now I'm looking for good speakers mainly for gaming. So far, I only have Logitech LS21 (and I find that for €20 they are pretty good), and then I treated myself to a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium sound card that incredibly changes the sound quality of my speakers. But it still remains quite weak, and the quality is very limited as soon as you turn up the volume a bit, along with pitiful bass....... I initially wanted to get Logitech Z623 at €130 (2.1 THX 200W ...) but when I saw that I could get the famous Z5500 (5.1 THX Surround DTS Dolby Digital 505W) for €150 more, I immediately preferred to get those. However, while researching, I saw that Logitech released a sort of revised Z5500, the Z906 (5.1 THX Surround DTS Dolby Digital 500W ...), a little less powerful, prettier, with a smaller subwoofer, but they also removed the system to attach the speakers to the wall..... so my question is: Should I get the Z5500 or the Z906?
*considering they are the same price
*that the Z906 is less powerful
*that the Z5500 can be wall-mounted
*that the Z906 has a nicer design
*that the Z906 is more compact
*and that the Z5500 has been out since 2004
So I'm waiting for your opinions if you have had both or if you have tested them.
