connect my ps2 to tv

Question

Hello, I connected my PS2 to my TV but nothing works, it’s a Toshiba 32/42hl83, the TV is new, I think I connected it correctly but I see nothing, there’s no image, it stays on the channel. What should I do? Thank you

Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 8.0

Yes, the PS2 turns on and as for the cables, I hope I have them plugged in because on the PS2 there are 3 types of cables: a red one, a white one, and a yellow one. And on my TV, I have 5 holes where I can plug them in, and on top of that, I can't find AV on the TV. They gave me this PS2 with a bunch of games and I really hope it works, lol.

There is only one solution, which is to press AV; if nothing happens, check your connections.
Could there be a loose connection in your cables?
Does the PS2 turn on?
