Hello everyone
Being a novice in using Open Office, I am looking to organize data with a "drop-down menu" incorporated into the header of the table to make it easier to search for data according to its category.
If someone could tell me how this is possible (if it is), it would greatly help me.
The question simply rephrased is: "How to create a drop-down menu in Calc (Open Office)?"
Thank you in advance.

dropdown menu under ooo calc
A/ define the range of data corresponding to the dropdown menu (e.g.: green, red...)
1 define the cells corresponding to the content
2 menu Data / define range
3 give any name to the range
4 copy the range (e.g.: $Sheet1.$AX$3:$AX$6)
B/ implement the dropdown menu in the column
1 select the cells/columns where you want to have the dropdown menu
2 menu Data / validity
3 allow "cell range"
4 check "allow empty cells"
5 check "show selection list"
6 in the source, paste the range (e.g.: $Sheet1.$AX$3:$AX$6)
7 confirm
that's it
