ID TeamViewer

Hello,
I need your knowledge and assistance if possible.
The TeamViewer ID (123 456 789) is assigned during the installation of the program. This allows another PC to connect by entering this ID + password.
This ID, once assigned, seems to be immutable. It never changes despite uninstallation and reinstallation, or installation of a newer version. It seems to be stored somewhere in the PC.
My problem is that after returning 2 PCs from the network for repair, they now have the same ID!! and I cannot modify this ID on either of the 2 PCs!
Could you tell me how to resolve this?
Uninstalling followed by cleaning the registry of all TeamViewer keys yields no results.
Thank you for your kind attention.
REMY J.

Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 8.0

Hello,

I found this program that allows you to change the ID, however, I did a simple search, I don't know this program:

hi

thanks for the info; not for the program (it's an archive with a bat and nircmdc.exe; you need to retrieve and verify nircmdc.exe from the source or from RELIABLE sources = you need to cross-check the sources) :-))

NirCmd - Windows command line tool:

* Be careful with the processed version (it's not up to date).

However, all of this can be done manually...

Use ac(AttributeChangerDates&Heures6.20Support64BitIncluded).exe;

Official site => http://www.petges.lu/download/ to change the folder date!

Download Attribute Changer for free | CommentCaMarche:

Hello Latinox
Hello librequetucrois

Thank you very much for your promptness! Being located 150 KM from where this issue is, I will wait until I have to go there to follow your advice.
I will make sure to inform you of the results, and in the meantime, please accept my sincere thanks.

Hello librequetucrois,
Tell me, using AC.exe or 34067004-attribute-changer from commentcamarche is fine for the same operation, right? Because the download from commentcamarche doesn't work for me (endless download).
Thanks again.

Hello; a tip note; sort partner IDs by modification date:

Regarding the .tvc files from TeamViewer (currently version 8); the partner IDs in the dropdown menu are stored in the folder below:

"the order does not matter too much or cannot be adjusted (there must be a trick to find)"

C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\TeamViewer\MRU\RemoteSupport
or
%USERPROFILE%\Application Data\TeamViewer\MRU\RemoteSupport (xp)

In fact, the trick is that the order in the dropdown menu in TeamViewer is the same as the date and time of modification of the ".tvc" files.

With Attribute Changer Dates and Times too, official site => http://www.petges.lu/download/ you can change the date and time of modification; save your ".tvc" files with the modified date using 7-Zip if you wish.

You can also click on each ID in the dropdown menu in TeamViewer to reorder them. Offline...

Problem duplicating the complete TeamViewer settings:

Same PC and same Windows, but new (without TeamViewer)...

The available export/import function is not complete.

I want to keep the same ID, convenient with partners who have whitelists; but there is a lack of an export/import function for the ID, the most annoying to obtain (offline, locally without needing an account but (suggestion) with a password for export/import and/or verification of the MAC address of the network card) and also, even if we can do otherwise (doing it easily manually), for the nickname (meeting and normal; not complicated to retype two nicknames especially without an account) and for the ".tvc" files (just copy the folder). I prefer complete official functions (sic). (+ Unicode was not or is not supported in the dreadful preformatted contact email like advertising and limited that we cannot save, except manually; we need more variables and easier to use too; thanks devs please.)

The problem; as I have the chance to test concerning the ID:

Cloning the registry key ON THE SAME PC and the same fresh installation does not seem to work anymore; same PC; same Windows (7x64).

Contains the values ClientIC and ClientID with the other keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\TeamViewer\Version8

The *small* config:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\TeamViewer

As soon as you connect online, the ID changes and the values ClientIC and ClientID are modified accordingly (and blocking the key "Version8" from being written for all to write the values in the registry does nothing but block the modification of all values without apparently causing any issue).

Thank you for reading about the trick (modification date of ".tvc" files to sort the dropdown menu of partner IDs in TeamViewer..., 7, 8) and thank you if someone has a working trick to duplicate the same TeamViewer ID on the same PC in a clean installation of w7x64. The official devs could add a function and add to save the rest (already reported when uninstalling and the comment web page opens); thank you.
