Scanner error on Pixma code 2,255,0

Hello, I have a Canon Pixma MP 150 multifunction printer and I can't scan anymore; I get the error code 2,155,0. I can't troubleshoot it and I've tried everything.

Check your USB cable. I had the same problem after rearranging my desk and connecting the printer (MP460) with a USB extension.
By connecting directly, no more issues.

It's been a year since I've been trying to solve this problem with a LIDE70 scanner. Now it works on a new desktop computer that is quite powerful (quad). I use this scanner for work (on the go) on two of my laptops. I completely reinstalled both XP this weekend, and now I can no longer get this scanner to work on either laptop (which, by the way, was very unstable before since it would quickly lose its functionality - when, after several installs, I managed to get it to work. It seems that this is due to a problem with memory transfer). I'm on my tenth reinstall and it still doesn't work...

I installed it twice but it always gives me a connection error with the scanner. The printer is connected and turned on.

Hey, I work at a cartridge store called "CartridgeWorld," and I had a customer come in with a problem on a Canon MP520. After reinstalling, scanning from another software, and especially testing on another MP520 I had in the store, I realized that the problem persisted, but I found the solution which is quite simple but not always considered:

reinstall the printer with an older driver

So I completely uninstalled the old one (installed with drivers M 1.1) and reinstalled with the M .0 drivers.
I then tried multiple scans, and it works without any error messages.
