ULEAD Video Studio 10 software

Hello,

after installing this software on my new laptop (Windows 7), I have no sound in my new movies!

Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 9.0

    Hello
    You no longer have sound in your created movies (video file).
    You are trying to play these files with a player (VLC, ...) and you have no sound. Is that right?

      Hello, and thank you for trying to help me.
      Indeed, when I import films from my camcorder to this software, it no longer plays sound since I installed it on Windows 7. Before, I was on XP and everything was working fine! So there is no sound during direct playback from the software.

    It's therefore Ulead Studio that doesn't handle sound.
    There must be a problem with the Ulead installation.
    Have you tried importing your videos with another capture software, like Windows Live Movie Maker, which normally comes with the W7 suite?

      Hello, I just tried this maneuver just now and I got sound! Is my software poorly installed??? However, with the CD (original) there aren't many installation possibilities!

      Isn't there an audio card configuration setting in Ulead?
      We should also check the software's compatibility with W7 (on the box).

    I just reinstalled the software, and I should specify that there is nothing indicated regarding W7. The only setting to check after selecting the country of use is the TV system, either NTSC or PAL/SECAM. So I checked PAL/SECAM. There is nothing regarding sound. Furthermore, I checked the included "music," and they do not work. What surprises me is that they are marked as MPEG in "properties," which is strange, isn't it?

      So there may be a compatibility issue with W7.
      Perhaps you could purchase an upgrade?
