Re,

- draw a rectangle the size of your page,
- center it on your page (using the "align & distribute" function),
- select the rectangle and the star,
- "Path" => "Intersection"

Thank you, this issue is resolved :)
But I would need another little advice please: I have a shape that is in the drawing area but is exceeding. I would like to keep only what is in the drawing area and remove everything that exceeds, how can I do that? ^^

Well, several methods are possible...

1° Switch to Node Editing mode (F2) [if it is a predefined shape (circle, rectangle, star...) first go through "Path" => "Object to Path"], and delete the unwanted nodes...
(You may need to add some nodes) :

2° Add a white rectangle above the shape, which should contain what you want to keep :

- select your object to modify,
- add the white rectangle to the selection (Shift+click) (both objects must be selected),
- "Object" => "Clip" => "Set" :

The downside is that if your object "to cut" has a border, that border is not created where the object is masked...
