How to listen to my iPhone on my car radio

Question

Hello,

I have a JVC KD-G441 car stereo and an iPhone 3GS. I bought a
Belkin F3S004 3.5 mm Jack Cable, thinking I could listen to music from my
iPhone, but no sound is coming out!!!
I don’t know anything about this, so I don’t know what to do...
Can someone help me by simplifying it as much as possible because technical terms are not my thing...

If you have an AUX input on your car radio, connect the AUX input of the radio to the headphone output of your iPhone; with this method, the car radio will not control the iPhone, it will only serve as an amplifier.

Thanks for the info charly_rom. That's what I did, and I'm playing a song with the iPhone, I can see it playing but no sound is coming from the car radio...
I'm afraid my car radio might not be compatible as sawsix said :(

Yes, don't worry :)
Anyway, I have Tuner, CD, or Aux so not much choice...
Do you think that if I have an Aux output I can definitely connect the iPhone to it?
After all, I have to admit I'm intrigued because when I connect the jack cable between the iPhone and the Aux output, on the iPhone next to the battery indicator at the top I have the "playing" sign, it's just that nothing happens at the car radio level (not even a different display, it still shows Aux).
I think it simply doesn't recognize the iPhone.

Charly_rom, thank you very much, it works by turning the volume up much higher than when I listen to the radio or a CD. And the sound is great!!!
I feel a bit silly now LOL.

For your information, there are Bluetooth kits that are compatible with any car radio that has an "aux" input on the front or back.

These kits typically allow you to easily switch from one song to another and answer the phone without having to take your eyes off the road ;-)
