Hotmail messaging question

Hello,

I would like to know how many unsuccessful attempts to log into a Hotmail account result in it being locked or prompt for confirmation with a code?

I’ve been trying for a while to access an old address, but I have tons of possible solutions. So I would like to know.

    According to my memories, you are stuck after about ten attempts for a few minutes.

    I don't know, I'm waiting but he keeps asking me for a confirmation code. I've tried clearing the cookies but he still asks me for it.

    Does anyone have a solution?
