Hello,
for some time now, I have been desperately trying to figure out how to write an e in the o. Indeed, it's very annoying not being able to write heart, sister, wishes, etc... correctly.
I'm on Chrome, but the autocorrect doesn't work for these words.
For example, for heart, it suggests "cour," "coure," "coder," etc...
I'm on a laptop, and the Alt+0156 shortcut doesn't work.
Moreover, since I only go on forums, Unicode doesn't work either.
Could someone please help me??
Thank you, have a nice evening
Configuration: Windows 7 / Safari 534.30

Good evening
I also use Google Chrome and it has never corrected anything for me! And I have Windows 7, just like you. I've had the laptop for 2 weeks, maybe the version of Chrome has changed?
Good luck ;) -
In order for the key combination "Alt+0156" to work, a numeric keypad is required, which is not always the case on laptops.....
However, 98% of laptops have a numeric keypad included in the keyboard on the keys "?, J, K, L, U, I, O, 7, 8, 9". To type an ASCII code (the value of the desired letter, 0156 for oe), it must be activated with a combination of keys... this may vary depending on the brands, but try using the "fn" + Alt + 0156 on the virtual numeric keypad.. -
Thank you for your contrary, but I don't have that numeric keypad either.
I only have the numbers at the top of the keyboard, on the keys &, é, &,quot;, ', (, -, è, _, ç, à...
Or maybe the numeric keypad you're talking about isn't represented on my keyboard? In that case, I don't know which letter corresponds to which number...
It's frustrating! -
Hello,
"I'm desperately searching".... let's not exaggerate, don't go committing suicide over that :-)

It's not hard!
You use the numbers on the top!
And for the uppercase letters, you activate the shift key.

The chair/keyboard interface is the hardest to configure.
