Je suis en possession d'un scanner Primax Colorado USB 19200 que j'installe sur l'ordi récupéré à mon filq et qui fonctionne sous XP. Avez vous une solution pour le faire fonctionner. D'avance merci

IL TE FAUT TELECHARGER LE FICHIER "pismusbeng.exe" je te donne un lien provisoire mais tu peux le trouver gratuitement sur internet en t'enregistrant simplement sur certains sites de drivers:

code d'accès pour entrer: "op12" rien pour le code utilisateur....

puis suivre l'installation comme indiqué plus bas ( c'est en anglais,désolé je peux faire une mini traduction si nécessaire...)
le principe : installer pismubeng.exe sans brancher le scanner, ne pas redémarrer l'ordi, aller chercher l'ensemble des fichiers temporaires installés dans “c:\documents and settings\ton nom d utilisateur\local settings\temp\pft… et les copier à la racine du disque dur dans un dossier qu'ils ont choisi d'appeler "scannerdriver" dans l'exemple...puis tu redémarres le pc, tu branches le scanner et tu vas choisir ton driver à l'emplacement spécifique précédemment créé.et tu choisis le driver 'flatbed scanner (English Win 95) ' surtout!!! et tu continues l'installation malgré l'indication que windows ne reconnait pas la signature etc.....

How to install the Colorado 9600/19200 USB
under Windows XP.
Visioneer does not guarantee or support this method of installation. This information is provided for troubleshooting purposes only.
NOTE: Please do NOT connect your scanner now.
1.) Download the Windows 2000 driver for your scanner model. We suggest saving it on your windows “desktop”.

2.) Run that downloaded file with a double click.
Follow the instructions on the screen through the installation. At the end, it will ask you to restart your computer.
Select “No, I will restart my computer later” and press the “finish” button.
NOTE: It is important NOT to restart the computer.
3.) Open the windows explorer from your start menu. Search for the folder “c:\documents and settings\YOURNAME\local settings\temp\pft…”. Copy this folder to c:\. Then rename it to “c:\scannerdriver”.
NOTE: The “pft…” folder must contain a folder called “OT1Drivers”.
4.) Restart your computer now.

5.) Back in windows, connect your scanner please. Windows now detects the new scanner and the “Hardware Wizard” appears. Select “”Install from a list or specific location(Advanced) and press “Next”.

On the next screen select the following options. Press the “Browse” button to find the folder on your computer. “pft…” might have an other name in your case.

This window might appear. If so, look for the location of the driver and choose the one in the “c:\scannerdriver…” folder.

Windows will now mention, that this driver has not passed the logo test. Press on “Continue Anyway”.


In case you get this message, we suggest keeping the newer files.

After a short moment, you will be asked to finish the installation. Press the “Finish” button to close the Hardware Wizard.

6.) Your scanner is installed on the system now. We’ve tested scanning successfully in MGI PhotoSuite IIISE and ScanSoft PaperPort, although (as mentioned before) we cannot guarantee the functionality.

Bonjour, je viens de retrouver mon scanner Primax Coloradeo USB n19200 qui me seravai avec windows 98, j'ai maintenant XP média center, je vois que tu as le pilot pour que je puisse me servir de ce scanner qui fonctionnais très bien

Désolé mais ce scanner ne fonctionne pas sous XP. Il a donc pris la direction de la poubelle et je travaille avec un CanonScan LIDE 25. Exellent, pas cher chez rue du commerce et pas encombrant, raccordement et alim par USB.

peut être que ton scanner avait un défaut. mais ça fonctionne (le mien marche depuis plusieurs années sous xp sp2 mis à jour...il est vrai qu'il faut parfois refaire deux ou trois fois la manip ( enlever les pilotes du scanner mal installés dans la configuration matériel -périph usb-)et respecter jusqu'au nom du dossier créé sur c:/ ("scannerdriver") pour voir apparaitre la machine après le redémarrage du pc.
ça fonctionne.
même sur vista semble t il avec la manip expliquée par un autre membre :
