CI.dll corrupted Solved

Question

Hello everyone,After conducting several unsuccessful searches, I'm here to present my issue.After an unexpected restart, I get a page indicating that Windows could not load the CI.dll file because it is unrecognized.I went to https://fr.dll-files.com/ci.dll.html to look for a new file, but without success...Do you have a solution to my problem?Thanks in advanceLaurentConfiguration: Windows 7 64-bit / Internet Explorer 9.0

Try to repair it with the Windows CD... otherwise, in safe mode  go to the command prompt chkdsk /f.

Hello Reminos8!  Yes, I replaced it and the error changed from 0xc0000428 to 0xc0000358 still with this CI.dll file!!

Are you sure there aren't multiple versions of this file for different operating systems, for example?

Apparently not, just the file location is different depending on the OS.  Unfortunately, safe mode doesn't work either.

I put my hard drive on my laptop to install it there.

Ok, you put it in system32, right? Then I think the problem comes from reading your hard drive: let me explain => the error message would appear before your hard drive is read. But that's just a guess. Do you know what the function of this file is?

I don't have Windows 7, so I can't find that file, but there might be utilities to restore your system files...
