Hello,

I'm trying to install the .NET framework because it is required for using a software, but it won't install. I'm installing version 4.

It gets stuck on downloading RGB9RAST_x86.msi...

I've tried all the solutions found on various forums:

- using dotnetfx_cleanup_tool

- cleaning via the registry + cclean

- installing a framework prior to version 4

- I tried to find RGB9RAST_x86.msi on the internet to download it myself but it's impossible, except through torrents, and I have no certification that it's the right one...

Nothing works...

I should point out a strange issue though:

I can't access any web pages via IE7 (but I can access them without any problems via Firefox). Since I know that often Microsoft products and components are linked to the proper functioning of IE, I'm mentioning it just in case you know how to fix this issue too...;-)

If anyone knows how to help me, thank you in advance

Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 3.6.17

I’m responding to myself since no one wants to answer me ;-)

Indeed, the issue I was thinking about is the problematic point that IE7 wasn’t connecting.

I updated to IE8 and it works!

Thanks to myself... and to those who gave me the solution in another post to fix my IE connection issue.
