Problem with Cobian and backups

Good evening,
I have a problem with the Cobian backup software in both version 6 and version 7.
Whether I install it as an application or as a service, the taskbar icon disappears when my PC starts up.
However, the icon is the only access to the interface. This icon is normally yellow; sometimes I find this icon in blue, which is abnormal according to the forum on Luis Cobian's site. But the site is in English, so English + computer science...
Another question regarding backups:
If I want to schedule regular backups, for example of the "My Pictures" folder, what method should I use: incremental, differential... because I want to, if I create a new folder, but also if I modify existing folders, restore an identical backup.
Recently I modified my images: I grouped several folders into new ones and with an incremental backup, I did not find these modifications in my backup.

Hello,
In the general edit window, try to set under the differential label
in the fields:
keep full copies to 1 instead of 0 (by default)
as well as in the full backup cycle window.
I have a problem: I get the message
"C:\ProgramData\Cobian\Cobian Backup 9\Settings\Sipafra Last Used.ini". Access denied.
and nothing works anymore (with Vista). -

Tired of constantly seeing "access denied" when I launched a differential backup in the same way as usual, I thought there might be a new version, or that mine was corrupted.... So I downloaded the latest version "9.5.0.201". Since then, no more issues.
You can't go wrong trying it...
