Hello,
I have a TV (...) on which I would like to connect my PC using an HDMI cable. I would like to have video on both screens (PC + TV) and sound on the TV speakers and those of the PC (via HDMI for the TV and via a jack for the PC speakers).
There is NO problem with the video (duplicate), but for the sound, I have to set either the HDMI cable as default (so the sound is on the TV) or the regular speakers (so the sound is on the PC via the jack).
I would like the sound to come out of both the TV speakers and the PC speakers AT THE SAME TIME!!
Thank you in advance for your help, which will be very valuable to me, hoping you can assist me.
PS: I apologize if I posted in the wrong forum.
Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 3.6.13

Yes, yes! It's possible: I found the solution on another site:
Here's how to do it:
- Install the Realtek driver
- Open the control panel, Sound section
- Select the headphones or speakers and set as default
Recording tab
- Select Stereo Mix and enable (if necessary)
- Set as default if it's not done
- Click on properties
- Click on the Listen tab
- Check Listen to this device
- Select Realtek Digital Output (Realtek High Definition)
- Click OK to close the Stereo Mix window
- Click OK to close the Sound window
Thanks again, hoping this will help someone...

Hi!
I see that it says resolved, but why no answer...
If someone could help... thank you very much in advance!
edit: I said nothing, I hadn't seen the answers above that were "hidden."

say, yes the maneuver works however there is a delay between my jack output and my HDMI output, so I hear the sound on my speakers AND my home theater simultaneously but it's as if there were an echo, the sounds are not in sync, is that normal?
