Install Word with CD on Archos tablet

Hello,

I bought an Archos tablet and I would like to install the Microsoft Word software that I have on a CD. How should I proceed considering there is no CD drive on the tablet.

    ha you are on Windows 7? so you have the Archos 9 I presume I thought you were under Android in which case you need another computer where you put your Office CD you open it you copy everything onto a USB key or a microSD card and you install ^^

    Hello, Microsoft software is not meant to be installed on Android; search the App Store on your tablet to see if you can get AndOffice or another option.

    It is a software that lets you see the software downloadable for your tablet; it should be located either on the desktop or in the dropdown menu.

    I can't find it. My tablet runs Windows 7, I find it strange not being able to install my Office suite. Thanks for the information, I’ll keep looking.

    Ok great, one more thing: how do I copy the Office pack onto a USB drive? (sorry, I’m really bad at computers).

    No problem, you put your CD in the drive, you go to Computer, you should normally see the CD. Do a right-click on it, open. Copy everything inside and paste it onto the USB key ^^

    once you’ve done that you put your key into the tablet you open the folder containing what you just put there you click on setup

    Ok finally some answers... I surfed the internet for 3 hours before finding answers to this. I don’t have an ARCHOS 9 but I want to buy one, but I don’t know where to find one??? I really like what’s touch but I don’t like the iPad (I hate iTunes)...
