Good evening
I have a big problem, I have a virus, or rather a spyware called "easy scan"
which an antivirus software publisher talks about here:
http://news.loaris.com/fr/easy-scan-virus-how-to-remove-easy-scan-fake-system-optimizer/
I downloaded their software and scanned my computer (spyware detected) only to find out at the end that it was paid!
If anyone has a solution or a free software... I don't understand any of the manual manipulations indicated....
I have already tried two software without success, and I couldn't do a system restore because my PC didn't have a restore point saved!
Anyway, I am desperate, thank you in advance for your help, and happy new year...
Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 3.6.13

Hello :)
Of course, if you visit shady sites (especially the link you provided ^^)
▶ Download to the desktop RogueKiller (by tigzy)
▶ ▶ (On Vista/Seven, right-click and run as administrator)
▶ Close all your running programs
▶ Launch RogueKiller.exe.
▶ When prompted, type 2 and confirm
▶ A report (RKreport.txt) should have been created next to the executable, paste its content in the response
▶ If the program has been blocked, don't hesitate to try several times.
Note: if it asks you to remove the proxy, type 1
Then:
▶ Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and save it to your desktop.
▶ ▶ Mirror if inaccessible
▶ ▶ /!\ Users of Vista and Windows 7: Right-click on the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware logo, "Run as Administrator"
▶ Double-click on the downloaded file to start the installation process.
▶ In the "update" tab, click on the Check for Updates button
▶ if the firewall asks for permission for Malwarebytes to connect, agree
▶ Once the update is complete
▶ Go to the Scan tab
▶ Select Run a Full Scan
▶ Click on Scan
▶ ▶ The scan starts.
▶ At the end of the scan, a message appears: The scan completed normally. Click 'Show Results' to view all found items.
▶ Click Ok to continue.
▶ If any malware was detected, click on Show Results
▶ Select all (or leave checked) and click on Remove Selected. Malwarebytes will destroy the files and registry keys and put a copy in quarantine.
▶ Malwarebytes will open Notepad and copy the scan report there. Copy/paste it here (ctrl+a to select all, ctrl+c to copy, ctrl+v to paste)
▶ ▶ MBAM may need to restart the PC to finalize the removal, so don't panic, restart your PC!!!
▶ Once the PC is restarted, go to the report/log tab
▶ Click on it to display it, once displayed
▶ Copy/paste it here (ctrl+a to select all, ctrl+c to copy, ctrl+v to paste)

Stay until the end until you are told that the disinfection is complete.

Good evening and best wishes for this year 2011
If you don't mind, I would like you to scan your PC with this to check that there’s nothing lingering.
Open this link and download ZHPDiag from Nicolas Coolman:
https://www.zebulon.fr/telechargements/securite/systeme/zhpdiag.html
Or
https://www.commentcamarche.net/telecharger/utilitaires/24803-zhpdiag/
Server No. 2
Or
http://www.premiumorange.com/zeb-help-process/zhpdiag.html
at the bottom of the ZHP page with a version number.
Once the download is complete, unzip the obtained file and place ZHPDiag.exe on your Desktop.
Double-click the icon to launch the program. Under Vista or Seven right-click “run as administrator”
Click on the magnifying glass to start the scan.
Let the tool work, it may take some time.
Close ZHPDiag at the end of the analysis.
To send the report click on this link:
http://www.cijoint.fr/index.php
Click on Browse and find the directory where ZHPDiag is installed (usually C:\Program Files\ZHPDiag).
Select the ZHPDiag.txt file.
Click on "Click here to upload the file".
A link of this type:
http://www.cijoint.fr/cjlink.php?file=cj200905/cijSKAP5fU.txt
will be added to the page.
Copy this link in your reply.
Thank you
See you later

I was surfing on Google when I caught this, not even on a shady site or while downloading, I stumbled upon the software site while looking for a solution.
