AMD CPU cooler disassembly

Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to disassemble an AMD cooler? I'm not talking about removing it from the motherboard, but rather separating the fan from the heatsink?

Let me explain the problem: I have a new Xigmatek Achille cooler and one of the mounting screws broke, so I need the lever from the original cooler to be able to secure this new cooler.

So, can we separate the fan from the original AMD cooler?
Or, if not, are those levers used to attach coolers to sockets sold separately?

Thank you in advance

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 3.6.13

It is usually possible to separate the fan from the radiator.

    From the discussion comes light.

Yes, except that I have an AMD cooler and not Intel :/

You need to pull the metal bar towards you. There is a small plastic clip, and once the bar is released, the fan goes away.
If this isn't quite the right method, please contact me again...

Actually, getting rid of the AMD card is simple, there's a lever to lift and it comes right out, you just have to move the small metal tab, if you know what I mean.

Yeah, to remove the heatsink, there's no problem, I just need to separate the fan from the radiator once the heatsink is disconnected from the motherboard.

Ah, this? It's a special fastener, separate the two with a screwdriver. (between the two parts, like a lever)
