Hello,
I have a problem when I start my PC, the screen stays black and the following message appears "Power management".
Is it my monitor that's having an issue or is it my computer? I had the same problem two weeks ago, I changed the power cable of the monitor and the computer restarted without issue, but not this time.
Screen: LG Flatron W2243S purchased in October 2009
Computer: Acer Aspire X3812, Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bits.
Thank you in advance
Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 8.0

I've had almost the same issue for a while; I have a screen from the same range, a LG Flatron W2363S, and the screen turns off with the message "DVI POWER MANAGEMENT" even though everything is properly connected and the PC isn't old.
I've noticed while researching that the majority of people encountering this problem have a LG Flatron!! Strange...
I've asked my question too, I hope we get a helpful answer.
Otherwise, maybe contacting the manufacturer...........
Edit: Here's another one from November without an answer:
